Bonei Olam Conference - Jerusalem
More than 300 rabbinic leaders and poskim gathered at the Bais Yisroel hall in Jerusalem, for a fascinating and informative conference hosted by Bonei Olam and Hadassah Medical Center. Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ateres Yisroel in Bayit Vegan and a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, opened the conference with divrei bracha and praise for Bonei Olam and its tireless efforts on behalf of those who yearn to have children of their own. Participants also heard from prestigious doctors who deal with infertility as well as Rabbi Moshe Klein, rabbi of Hadassah Medical Center.

Rabbi Elyakim Levanon of Bonei Olam’s Israel branch spoke passionately about the organization’s work in Israel, emphasizing its unique ability to utilize cutting edge medical techniques while still staying true to halacha and generations of mesorah that have been passed down over the years.

A panel that included several well known physicians at the forefront of infertility treatment took numerous questions from those in attendance, giving everyone an opportunity to see how today’s advances in modern medicine can benefit childless couples without in any way compromising on their religious observance.

As the conference ended, numerous participants expressed their gratitude to Bonei Olam and officials at Hadassah Medical Center for putting together such an enlightening event and expressed the hope that this newfound information will result in even more struggling couples being able to realize their dream of parenthood.
