The heads of Bonei Olam's Antwerp division held an extremely important conference with the leading Doctors of the world renowned Jette Medical Center in Brussels, to discuss promising options for frum couples dealing with infertility issues. An in depth discussion was held to better understand these new advances in order to be able to clarify the halachic ramifications for potential use by Orthodox Jewish couples, with proper consultation with rabbanim. This very successful conference offered a wealth of new updates and will hopefully open new vistas for those couples that dream of one day building a family of their own.

Bonei Olam Conference - Jerusalem
More than 300 rabbinic leaders and poskim gathered at the Bais Yisroel hall in Jerusalem, for a fascinating and informative conference hosted by Bonei Olam and Hadassah Medical Center. Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ateres Yisroel in Bayit Vegan and a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, opened the conference with divrei bracha and praise for Bonei Olam and its tireless efforts on behalf of those who yearn to have children of their own. Participants also heard from prestigious doctors who deal with infertility as well as Rabbi Moshe Klein, rabbi of Hadassah Medical Center.

Rabbinical Conference
An overflow crowd of rabbonim gathered in Stamford Hill for an important meeting to discuss halachic issues, with participants coming from as far away as Golders Green to hear about Bonei Olam’s efforts on behalf of London’s Jewish community.

Rav Efraim Padwa, shlita, opened the evening by noting the importance of consulting with Bonei Olam before rendering any halachic decisions regarding fertility issues. Rabbi Naftoli Tzvi Dembitzer of Bonei Olam kept the crowd spellbound for over 90 minutes, discussing a list of approximately ten issues requiring careful halachic guidance. Rabbi Dembitzer also related that doctors, both in London and throughout Europe, have been exceptionally accommodating of the religious needs of their Jewish patients.

Bonei Olam Meeting
As part of a continued effort to develop the Vienna chapter of Bonei Olam, Rabbi Schlomo Bochner, founder and executive director of Bonei Olam, traveled to Austria to meet with askanim and prominent community members. Many topics were discussed including how to make Bonei Olam's services more accessible to community members and how to forge solid connections in order to increase donations. Rabbi Bochner proclaimed the meeting a tremendous success, from both the financial and medical perspectives and we look forward to continued growth in Vienna.
